As a general rule, first-time patients in our gynecology department are only seen on Mondays.
Dr. Mase, who is in charge on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, is generally only available for follow-up appointments, and currently prioritizes appointments with patients who have had a medical checkup or health check that includes gynecological examinations at our clinic within the past year. If you would like to see Dr. Mase, please feel free to contact us by phone.

Menorrhagia/dysmenorrhea
  • This is the disease
    • These are menstrual abnormalities such as excessively heavy or light menstrual flow, or long or short menstrual periods.
  • Main symptoms
    • Heavy menstrual flow, long menstrual period (7 days or more), extremely light menstrual flow, short menstrual period (2 days or less)

Menstrual irregularities
  • These are the symptoms
    • A normal menstrual cycle is 25 to 38 days, fluctuates within 6 days, and lasts 3 to 7 days. Menstrual irregularities occur when this regular menstrual cycle is disrupted. If menstrual irregularities are left untreated, they can affect future pregnancy and childbirth.

    • Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), thyroid dysfunction, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), endometrial polyps, uterine fibroids

Irregular bleeding
  • This is the disease
    • This refers to vaginal bleeding outside of your regular menstrual period. It can range from light to heavy and varies greatly from person to person. It is especially common during puberty and menopause, when menstrual cycles tend to be irregular.

    • Bleeding outside of menstrual periods or changes in menstrual pattern

    • hormonal imbalance
    • Endometriosis and uterine fibroids
    • Cervical cancer and uterine cancer
    • Cervical and endometrial polyps

    • Interview, pelvic examination, ultrasound examination, endometrial biopsy, cervical cytology, blood test

    • Hormone therapy to regulate hormone balance
    • Treating infection with antibiotics
    • Surgery such as removal of uterine fibroids or polyps
    • Cognitive rehabilitation, lifestyle rehabilitation
Lower abdominal discomfort or pain
  • This is the disease
    • There are possibilities of ovarian tumors, salpingitis, and endometriosis. Ovarian tumors are also common in young women, and even if they grow quite large, they often have no symptoms.
  • Main symptoms
    • Lower abdominal bloating or pressure
    • Lower abdominal or back pain
    • Dyspareunia
  • Suspected disease
    • Ovarian tumors, pelvic peritonitis, salpingitis, endometriosis, fibroids, adenomyoma

    • Physical examination, ultrasound examination, CT/MRI, blood test, tissue test
  • Types of treatment
    • Observation (if benign)
    • Surgery and chemotherapy (if malignant)
    • Treating infection with antibiotics
Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)
  • This is the disease
    • Symptoms caused by hormonal changes include lower abdominal pain, headache, swelling, weight gain, breast pain, irritability, and anxiety, which occur about two to one week before menstruation. It is estimated that 80% of women experience these symptoms, and if the symptoms are extremely severe, it may be premenstrual dysphoric mood disorder (PMDD).
  • Types of treatment
    • Measuring basal body temperature
    • Relieving stress through moderate exercise
    • Limit stimulants, alcohol, caffeine, and foods high in salt and fat
    • Taking low-dose birth control pills or herbal medicines

Biography
Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Nippon Medical School in 2003. After completing her residency in gynecology and obstetrics at Nippon Medical School Hospital, she worked in the obstetrics department at the perinatal center of Tokyo Metropolitan Sumida Hospital and in the gynecology and obstetrics department at Nippon Medical School Musashi-Kosugi Hospital.
Graduated from Nippon Medical School Graduate School in 2012. Obtained a Doctor of Medicine. Worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Nippon Medical School Musashi-Kosugi Hospital.
From 2016 to 2020, he was a part-time lecturer in the Department of Women's Medicine and Obstetrics at Nippon Medical School Musashi-Kosugi Hospital.

① Speedy in-house testing

We will promptly diagnose using colposcope, MRI, CT, ultrasound, etc. If necessary, we will refer you to a nearby medical facility.

② A wide range of detailed examinations performed in-house

We have specialized staff and testing equipment for blood test, urine test, electrocardiograms, X-rays, ultrasound tests, and more, to investigate the cause of symptoms in a comprehensive manner.

③General blood test results will be given to you on the same day.

We have an in-house laboratory, and therefore, we can provide testing and explanation of general blood test results, excluding tumor markers, can be otained within about an hour.

We work in cooperation with each department of our clinic and external medical institutions to provide appropriate treatment and support as a team.
