Information on the 2012-2013 seasonal influenza vaccination

We will offer the influenza vaccine from October 1st

Every winter, many people catch the influenza virus and suffer from high fever, muscle pain and other severe symptoms.
Influenza vaccination with the inactivated influenza virus prevents influenza infection from common strains, and relieves symptoms. It may prevent influenza-related complications and death.

Tokyo Midtown Clinic now offers the vaccine and we recommend that you receive it in October or November, or at least by early December. Even later, the vaccination is still effective, because the high season of influenza infections in Japan is generally from January to March, and in some years until May.

Vaccination at our clinic is available for adults and those who have at least enrolled in junior high school.

If you are pregnant, please consult with your obstetrician before you come to the clinic.

※The 2012-2013 influenza vaccine contains 3 kinds of influenza vaccines including type H1N1.

The fee:¥3,600(tax included)
(The fee for the second shot at Tokyo Midtown Clinic: ¥2,550 tax included)
