【9/24 (Wed) Reservation Opens】2025 Influenza Vaccination Information

Starting from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, we will begin accepting reservations for this season’s influenza vaccination (available from October 6, 2025, to late March 2026, or until supplies last).

Getting vaccinated not only helps prevent influenza infection, but also reduces the risk of severe illness and alleviates symptoms if you do become infected.We encourage you to consider vaccination as an effective measure against influenza.

Reservations will open at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24.

Vaccinations will be administered at our clinic starting Monday, October 6.

※After logging in from the reservation page, please select either ‘Internal Medicine (General)’ or ‘Gastroenterology’ on the appointment type selection screen.

Fee: Optional vaccination (self-paid, tax included)

  • General: ¥4,950
  • Midtown Worker Discount (for general patients only): ¥4,400

This year’s vaccine strains – 3 types

  • Type A strain / Victoria / 4897 / 2022 (IVR-238) (H1N1)
  • Type A strain / Perth / 722 / 2024 (IVR-262) (H3N2)
  • Type B strain / Austria / 1359417 / 2021 (BVR-26) (Victoria lineage)

※According to Notification No. 0530-1 issued by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, this year’s vaccine is trivalent, containing two type A strains and one type B strain, differing from last year’s formulation.
※This vaccine is not effective against avian influenza.

Eligible age for vaccination

At our clinic, vaccinations are in principle available for individuals aged 16 and older.
※For those aged 16–17, a parent or guardian’s accompaniment is recommended. However, in special consultation rooms, vaccination may be provided to minors below high school age with the attending physician’s approval.

  • We are unable to accept reservations by phone. Please make your reservation through our online booking system.
  • Please note that vaccine supplies may be limited due to manufacturing reasons or current demand trends. We appreciate your understanding.
