This disease causes the partial loss of the visual field which relates to the area lacking fiber in the optic nerve from many reasons.

I have experienced some patients whose visual field defect recovered to an almost completely normal condition in spite of fairly advanced stage in the visual field narrowing because of the remarkable progress of eye drops in these 10 years.
